I don’t even know if I want to read this article. As someone who’s working on a science fiction novel of my own, do I want to know what’s on the horizon? What’s trending? What if the subject matter of my book is totally irrelevant to what’s new and fresh and exciting? What if it’s TOO relevant to what’s new and fresh and exciting… as in, it’s exactly like five other books coming out next year?
